ConneKt Film is a film community that helps filmmakers at all levels to connect, grow and succeed by centralizing all film opportunities in Toronto, including networking events, festivals, grants and job openings, right in your mailbox!

October Updates

The first part of October has been very eventful for ConneKt Film and the Ontario film scene as well!

The International Film Festival of South Asia captivated audiences with its exceptional programming and thought-provoking films. It was wonderful to witness such enthusiastic engagement during the Q&A sessions—viewers’ heartfelt responses and insightful questions showed just how deeply the films resonated.

Another highlight is the celebration of the independence of the BAO (Brampton Arts Organization) as a non-profit and the launch of their new platform on October 17th. That evening felt transformative for the Brampton art scene was a true celebration of the artists in the city.

Of course, we couldn’t leave out the 48 Hour Film Project! We can't wait to see how all the projects turned out! Don’t miss the chance to catch the screenings—view the schedule here.

And with Halloween fast approaching, we hope you’ve already got your costumes ready! After that, we are one step away from thinking about Christmas presents and decorations.
